Geeta Rastogi Geetanjali was born on July 26, 1968 in India. Her parents Mr. Harichand Gupta and Mrs. Rammurti Devi are the native of district Ghaziabad (U.P.). Besides being an author, she is a teacher and author, specialised in Chemistry. The kids’story book 'Bholu's Colourful Rainbow' was originally written in Hindi and then translated in English and other languages including Italian, French, Spanish, Thai, German, Filipino, Arabic Greek, Maltese, Turkish, Bulgarian and Slovak. Two novels in Hindi have also been published by her with titles 'Kanak Kanak te sau guni'and 'Vamakshi ki Anusmritiyan'. One anthology Bikhre Moti has been edited by her. She also writes for magazines and newspapers.
