This book tells the story of avid marathoner Chan Meng Hui, who took up running when he was in his 50s and successfully finished 101 marathons when he passed away at the age of 89. A truly inspiring, as well as determined, disciplined, cheerful and jovial person, Chan was a joy to chat to and spend time with. He never failed to bring a smile to my face. I feel blessed to have known him and to have been able to call him a friend. He lived a full life pursuing his passions. But he is not gone forever; his spirit continues to live on. I hope that by reading this book, you too, will be inspired by Chan, as I have been.
