As an editor and proofreader, Sarah had assisted independent authors and publishers with their manuscripts for the better part of a decade. All of the authors she had worked with had 4.5 to 5 star ratings on Amazon and few have been ranked as USA Today bestsellers.
Sarah also works with Curiosity as their copy editor with the content she corrects getting more than 6 million views every month.
In addition to her work as a proofreader and editor, she is also a reviewer and a content developer. Sarah had assisted companies such as Wainscot Media, Culture Cube and Rooster Grin Media creating content for clients as small as mom-and-pop stores and as large as major players on Wall Street.
Sarah is an experienced proofreader, editor, reviewer and content developer and has her own site at srbmartin.com
Sarah is our co-author for the first Learning and Development Reference Guide under our Academy, titled, The Writer’s Bible
a. Proofreading for $20 per 10k words
b. Proofreading plus Light Editing & Editorial Feedback for 30$ per 10k words
Light editing includes removing words that harm the flow, rewriting some sentences to improve clarity, and other general changes that help the book become better. The rate assumes that the writer is fluent in English and does not make errors that require essentially rewriting the entire book or large sections of the book. For example, if the writer constantly switches from present tense storytelling to past tense, that is too heavy of a correction. Same for constant unintentional switches between first- and third-person perspective.
