Submission Guidelines
We are currently accepting unsolicited work worldwide in multiple languages for both fiction and non-fiction in almost every genre - Thriller, Romance, Biography, Technology, Self-Help, Children, Poetry, Comics, Business, Academic, History, Lifestyle, Literature, Politics, Fantasy, Sports, Travel, Erotica, Horror, Sci-Fi, Spiritual.
The work should be written in one of the following languages - English, European (Bulgarian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Irish, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovak, Slovene, Spanish, Swedish) or Asian (Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, Javanese, Nepali, Korean, Vietnamese, Malay, Bahasa, Filipino).

Please upload the following files by clicking on Submit your Manuscript button so that our editorial team can review your work and respond to you via email within 15 to 30 working days.
a. Full manuscript (between 4K and 80K words for poetry and 8K to 100K words for the rest)
b. Synopsis of the content (around 500 words)
c. Author Profile
We are not very keen on books with high word count beyond the given limit.
Manuscript formatting guidelines: Single-spaced, 12-point, Times New Roman font in word or pdf format.
There is no fee or cost for publishing with us. Kindly report to us at publishing@ukiyoto.com for any independent party seeking funds on our behalf or with our name and without our authority or consent.
For anthologies or collections, you may compile all the work into a single word document (between 8k and 120k words) and send it across along with a brief on the collection to publishing@ukiyoto.com.

We advise you to go through the terms and conditions mentioned on the website before submitting your manuscript.
We are currently NOT accepting already published/self published books for submission/ re-publications.
Content violation or Copyright Issues (if any) are to be dealt directly by the author and the party contested with and Ukiyoto shall not be a part of the same.
Submissions for Pocket Books
We've launched pocket books as a new addition to our diverse portfolio to cater to wider audiences. They are small paperback books- cellphone sized and, unlike traditional books, can easily fit into a back pocket or small purse.
The word count limits for pocket books are:
Stories - 2k to 8k words
Poetry - 800 - 4k words

Publishing Process Flow
Following submission, one of our editors will review your work and choose it only if it meets our quality standards. When we decide to pursue your manuscript, we begin the process of creating, publishing, and distributing your book through major e-tailers and even bookstores (subject to acceptance).
How We Transform Your Story into a Published Book
Creation
Our editorial team ensures that your book is published error-free. We then create a one-of-a-kind and appealing cover for your book, as well as the internal layout.
Publishing
We publish your book in ebook, paperback, flipbook, and hardback formats, as well as register an ISBN for your book.
Distribution
We will distribute your book to major global online retailers as well as make it available on our online bookstore. They can also be distributed to bookstores subject to acceptance.
Support
On your journey as an author, we provide you with continuous support by email, even post-publishing. Our sales dashboard helps you keep track of your earnings.
Marketing
To help you market your book, we promote your book on our social media platforms and all available channels.
