This is the 2nd edition of the Sueños by Ukiyoto International Children's Book Awards 2026 - recognizing children's or YA books both in print and digital formats within as well as outside its publications which reflect quality literary, creative and illustrative work due for its mass visibility and recognition. The books stand a chance for being represented at International Book Fairs for Rights & Distributions.

Nominations are now open in the following Categories,

• Comic/Graphic Novel of the Year

• Best Illustrator of the Year​

• Children's Poetry of the Year

• Best Audio Book of the Year

• Translator of the Year

• Picture Book of the Year

• Best Middle Grade Novel of the Year

• Best Fantasy or Science Fiction Book

• Best Book on Diversity and Inclusion

• Best Coffee Table Book

• Most Creative Concept

• Best Historical Fiction

• Best Contributor in an Anthology

Nomination Process

• Fill in the following Google Form with all your details for further curation ahead.

• Nominated books may or may not be produced by us as this is open to all

• Author/Nominee's age maybe between 10 and 75 years

• The book needs to be published before 31st Mar'26 and must comprise an ISBN

• Open to all languages

Deliverables for Awardees

• Felicitation with Aesop's Tale Certificate of Honour at the Solstice Annual Literary Conference, Dubai (9th Aug'26) - those not attending physically will have their Certificate dispatched along with award trophy

• Awardee Trophy to be dispatched to all Selected Candidates by 15th September 2026

• Shared Press Coverage for the selected candidates - New

• 1 Children's Music Song (in English) based on the book to be created (Lyrics to be provided by author within 24 lines) - New

• 1 Translation Option of Awardee's book from our available 44 Languages along with Publication and Distribution as per regular processes of publication (Read all about our translation projects at: https://www.ukiyoto.com/translation). NOTE - Any intrinsic or special designing (if required for publishing) not as per our regular formats may need to be taken care of by the author

• Book Showcase at Ukiyoto House, Kolkata for 3 months

• Last date of filing Phase I nominations - 31st Mar'26

• Declaration of Results - On a Rolling Basis as per intimation

• Nomination is free and open to all.

• After declaration of the results, a confirmation facilitation fee is applicable.
