What is Bhasha Dibash?

Bhasha Dibash or the Language Martyrs' Day is a national holiday of Bangladesh taking place on 21 February each year and commemorating the Bengali language movement and its martyrs.

We invite authors, writers, poets and academicians to published this Bhasha Dibash for paperbacks, hardbacks, flipbooks, eBooks and Audio Books!

You may register now and submit your content latest by 10th Feb'20.

Content submitted and curated before 10th Feb are slated for a grand digital release this Bhasha Dibash on 21st Feb.

How to submit?

a. For short stories to be curated as collection write your story within 7,000 words or poetry within 2,000 words and email us (at publishing@ukiyoto.com) your complete manuscript along with author profile typed in word format for curation.

b. For single titles, write your story for a minimum of 8,000 words or poetry for a minimum of 3,000 words and email us (at publishing@ukiyoto.com) your complete manuscript along with author profile typed in word format for curation.

c. Content should be in English or Bengali only

d. Stories and poetry maybe on both fiction or non fiction (open theme).

e. You will be notified on a rolling basis on your selection and your content would be taken up for production thereafter.

What do Authors get?

a. All selected participants shall have their book published, distributed and promoted by us as Paperbacks, Hardbacks, Flipbooks and eBooks worldwide (Amazon, Ukiyoto Store, Ukiyosk, SG Bookshelf and offline stores as applicable) with equal share of royalty paid to authors.

b. Audio books would be published on DIY (Do IT Yourself) mode and processed further as per International standard requirements for audio quality with separate royalty (per sale) payment to the author. Audio books would be made available on global channels such iTunes, Kobo, Google Books and many others.

c. All authors would be provided with an Author Contract

Terms and Conditions

  • Participants may have a minimum age limit of 8 years and can be from anywhere across the world
  • Titles will be published on a rolling basis as and when they are completed in the form of collections
