How to submit?

a. Write your story within 10,000 words or poetry within 5,000 words and email us (at publishing@ukiyoto.com) your complete manuscript along with author profile typed in word format for curation.

b. Content can be in English or any regional languages (such as Bengali, Tamil, Hindi, Thai, Malay, Vietnamese, Bahasa, Javanese, Khmer and others).

c. Stories maybe on both fiction or non fiction (open theme).

d. You will be notified on a rolling basis on your selection and your content would be taken up for production thereafter.

What do Authors get?

a. All selected participants shall have their book published, distributed and promoted by us both as eBooks and Paperbacks worldwide (Amazon, Ukiyoto Store, SG Bookshelf and offline stores as applicable) with equal share of royalty paid to authors.

b. Audio books would be published on DIY (Do IT Yourself) mode for English submissions only, processed as per International standard requirements for audio quality with separate royalty (per sale) payment to the author. Audio books would be made available on global channels such iTunes, Kobo, Google Books and many others.

c. Spoken Word Projects for those interested authors whereby post publication entire story maybe structured in the form of a spoken word lyric with background music and populated on music distribution channels such as Spotify, iTunes, Saavn, Amazon Music and many others.

d. Chance to submit a separate single title and get published either in English or any regional language

e. Sign Author Contract

f. Digital Certificate of Honour for all published authors and writers

Terms and Conditions

• Participants may have a minimum age limit of 8 years
• Titles will be published on a rolling basis as and when they are completed in the form of collections
• Authors or writers are preferred to have their origin from South East Asian nations

a. Name or logo or brand name on the Cover and the Inside of each book published and distributed worldwide providing massive outreach and visibility - We will communicate with the requirements from your end via email post registration

b. Credentials, brief work and contact details mentioned at the end of book for readers to connect and communicate

How do philanthropists help?

The world needs quality literature. From these collections, we aim to foster creativity and readership among the less fortunate ones.

Once, the books are produced and made available in the Singapore market, we will share the links with you which you may purchase online or from us at a bulk and let us distribute the books to children looked after by registered NGOs or charitable trusts. You may also directly place your order and initiate the shipment of your books to the NGOs or charitable trusts.
