About the Event
We are inviting poets to submit their poems to be included in the anthology If Words Can Spill Beyond Their Own Bounds. We are seeking poems that explore the possibilities and potentialities of language in articulating the self, both in times of crisis and in everyday life.
You may submit your poetry by 15th July 2021.
All contents will be edited by Tammy Lai-Ming Ho, Founding Co-Editor, Asian Cha Journal.
How to submit?
a. Send up to three poems in one WORD document to publishing@ukiyoto.com before 15th July 2021 for consideration. No PDFs, please. Total word count would be between 800 and 4,000.
b. Content should be in English or translated into English. If you are submitting translated work, please seek permission from the original author(s).
c. Poetry may be in both fiction or nonfiction (open theme).
d. You will be notified of your selection by 30th July 2021 and your content would be taken up for production thereafter.
What do Authors get?
a. All selected participants shall have their book published, distributed and promoted by us and Asian Cha Journal as Paperbacks, Hardbacks, Flipbooks and eBooks worldwide with equal share of royalty paid to authors.
b. Each poet would be provided with an Author Contract
