About the Event

Gear up for The 30K Challenge whereby your title would have guaranteed feature across 40,000 bookstores, libraries and literacy resources across the world along with a chance to have paperback book distribution of around 250 copies at the bookstores in Paris in May. Also, get a chance to be featured on Litteratura, Paris Issue.

Rules of Submission

a. You need to register online by getting your tickets as per Early Bird, Regular and Laggard categories

b. Once purchased, you may submit your story or poetry (all genres accepted) for the challenge by emailing us your ticket number and subject as, "Submission for The 30K Challenge". You may register now and submit your script later when ready but positively by 31st March 2020

c. The total number of words in the script must be between 5,500 and 30,000 for prose & between 800 and 8,000 for poetry

d. All submissions must be in English

e. Following documents need to be submitted,

    i. Complete manuscript typed in .doc/.docx format

   ii. Author Bio in not more than 200 words typed in .doc/ .docx format

   iii. A high-resolution photo of Author in .jpeg or .png format

f. Submissions need to be duly checked, revised, edited and formatted in the following format for consideration - 12 Font Size, Times New Roman Font Type with Chapter Headings marked in bold

What do Authors get?

All participants shall have their book published, distributed and promoted by us all across the world.

The title will be made available on all global channels with worldwide distribution in both eBook and paperback formats both in online as well as offline bookstores.

Participants shall,

  • Be entitled to win the Best Author Golden Trophy Award* for their submitted script and also have around 250 books printed for paperback distribution at bookstores specifically in Paris in May 2020
  • Be featured on Litteratura, Paris Issue May 2020 - one of the most premier magazines printed on high-quality glossy paper for worldwide distribution
  • Get lifetime royalty share per sale
  • Get to sign Author Contract

Terms and Conditions

  • Participants can be from anywhere across the world
  • The participant needs to pay the registration fee and then email us their script to ukiyotopublishing@gmail.com in .doc format

NOTE - All submissions will be published and promoted by us unless the submitted script does not match the quality standards and require complete rework or revision. Participants in such cases will be intimated for non-acceptance of their titles and their registration amount will be refunded.

Registration may be done now and submissions can be made later, by 31st March 2020.

*Awarded to the best author whose name shall be publicly disclosed post 31st March 2020. The trophy shall be shipped across to the participant's given address.
