Bashari Chakraborti

Fiction - Woman Writer of the Year
Bashari Chakraborti is a finance professional with over twenty years of experience in diverse corporate environments. She currently serves as GM Finance at Ashirvad Pipes. Beyond financial numbers, she is a staunch champion of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), both professionally and personally. Bashari enjoys engaging with and working alongside people from diverse backgrounds. She is associated with an organization through which she mentors girls from underprivileged communities.
A budding writer, Bashari maintains a blog (https://bashariblog.wordpress.com/) where she hones her writing skills. Her debut novel, My Slice of the Sky, published this year, tells the story of three women and their journey of resilience and friendship.
She lives in Bengaluru with her techie husband and their two spirited teenage daughters.
