Nivedita Baraily
Author of Hope, Strength and Love
Poet of the Year
Nivedita Baraily works as an Assistant Professor of Law at the Surendranath Law College, Kolkata. She is originally from the hidden jewel of Darjeeling district, by the name of Kurseong. She did her B.A.LL.B(H) and LL.M. from the University of North Bengal. She is also pursuing her PhD in Criminal Law from the same University. However, poetry has always been her passion and lifelong love. She published her first poetry book �Hope, Strength and Love� in the year 2020 amidst the pandemic, hoping to bring humankind closer. It was the pandemic that made her realise that she could compile the poems that she had written since 14 years of age. "Hope, Strength and Love" aims to not only fulfil her childhood dreams but also express herself through creativity.
