Zia Marshall

Poet of the Year
Zia Marshall, with a doctorate in English Literature, has a deep-seated passion for literature and a reverence for the power of language. Her poetic journey is an ode to the rhythmic cadences of the natural world and the kaleidoscope of human emotions. Her work captures both the light and darkness of life with unflinching honesty and grace.
Marshall�s poems and short stories have found homes in Contemporary Literary Review of India, Quarterly Literary Review of Singapore, Adelaide Literary Magazine, Auroras and Blossoms among others. She is a regular contributor of Metverse Muse.
In her debut poetry collection, From Breaking to Blooming (2023), Marshall invites readers to journey through the depths of the human heart, from moments of shattered vulnerability to the radiant blossoming of resilience and growth.
Her second poetry collection, Petals in the Breeze, is due to be released in 2024.
